How it all started

Hey Y’all, Capt. Dave here to give you guys a little backstory of my fishing career thus far! I have been an avid fisherman for the better part of 4 decades. (Wow that doesn’t age me at all!!!). Fishing primarily up and down the Eastern seaboard from Maryland to The Keys, I always look forward to my next adventure on the water. Started Chartering in 2015 on Kayaks in the Backwaters of Volusia County. Remember that 4 decades from earlier?? Well I decided to put the paddles aside for some actual horsepower and upgraded to a flats boat. But for some reason the open ocean has always called to me, so I traded the flats boat for 22 ft Mako! That’s right, I am now able to get offshore where the big fish roam!! I can’t wait to see ya’ll out there on the water!

What to Expect

Having taken countless charters both as a guide and as a customer, I think the expectations are the hardest part of the job as a guide and as the fisherman. So, for me, I just want to ensure you have a good time no matter what. We all know fishing is just that… FISHING…. not catching. I can guarantee you will see some of the most beautiful back country waters and estuaries you have ever seen. I can also say I will do everything within my knowledge and capabilities to produce fish. Whether you are a family looking to entertain the kids, to avid artificial and even fly fisherman, I have to knowledge to help get it done. Make note I said Help get it done… Meaning I can put you on the fish, then it’s up to you to get them to the boat!!
